HAIB is a world-class genomic research center that is continually working to improve human health and well-being, while facilitating the entrepreneurial growth of scientific discoveries in collaboration with over 30 diverse associate companies located on site.
North Alabama’s life science companies are employing thousands. They are finding success in agricultural feedstock and chemicals, bioscience-related distribution, medical devices and equipment, drugs and pharmaceuticals, and research testing and medical labs. Our university research centers at Alabama A&M and the University of Alabama in Huntsville support these efforts and encourage additional growth in this fast growing field of life-changing advancements.
